In early 1997 top international artists were commissioned to produce a piece of art representing ‘creation’ in relation to their cultural history. Grant was chosen as the Maori artist and his carving Rangi and Papa stands in the Jean Marie Tabaou Cultural centre as a testament to his internationally respected profile.
